By using Errands, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. These Terms govern your use of the Errands platform, including posting errands, running errands, and using Errands Escrow.
Errands is a trust-first errand marketplace operated by Errands Logistics Solutions, registered in Nigeria. We connect users who need tasks done with vetted runners who execute those tasks. We also operate Errands Escrow, a secure payment holding service.
Errands is a marketplace platform. We do not employ runners. Runners are independent contractors who offer their services through our platform. Errands facilitates the connection, verifies identity, and provides the trust infrastructure — but the service agreement is between the user and the runner.
We reserve the right to remove any user or runner from the platform for behaviour that violates these Terms or undermines the trust and safety of the community.
As a user you agree to:
• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Post only lawful errands — no illegal activities, no hazardous materials
• Pay for completed errands promptly and fairly
• Treat runners with respect and dignity
• Not attempt to contact or transact with runners outside the Errands platform to circumvent our service fee
• Complete accepted errands to the best of your ability and as described
• Communicate promptly and honestly with users through the platform
• Never misappropriate funds, items, or information entrusted to you
• Maintain your verified status — notify Errands of any changes to your identity or circumstances
• Not solicit users to transact outside the platform
Errands charges a service fee on each completed errand. The current fee structure is displayed at the time of payment. Fees are subject to change with notice.
For Errands Escrow, a service fee is charged based on the tier selected. Fees are deducted at the time of escrow creation and are non-refundable unless the escrow is cancelled before funding.
User cancellation before runner accepts: Full refund to wallet.
User cancellation after runner accepts: 50% of the agreed fee is payable to the runner for time and inconvenience. Remainder refunded to wallet.
Runner cancellation: No fee charged to user. Full refund. Runner's reliability rating is affected.
Disputed errands: Handled according to our Dispute Resolution Policy.
Errands acts as a facilitator. We are not liable for the actions of runners or users, loss of items, damage to property, or failure to complete an errand except where directly caused by a platform failure. We strongly recommend using Errands Escrow for any transaction involving payment for goods.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts.

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019.
Account information: Name, email, phone number, city, password (encrypted)
Runner verification: NIN, government-issued ID, selfie — stored encrypted, used only for identity verification
Transaction data: Errands posted, payments made, escrow transactions
Communications: In-app messages between users and runners
Usage data: How you use the app, which features you access
• To verify your identity and maintain platform trust and safety
• To facilitate errands and process payments
• To resolve disputes and enforce our Terms of Service
• To improve our platform and personalise your experience
• To comply with legal and regulatory requirements
All data is stored on encrypted servers. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Identity documents are encrypted at rest and in transit. In-app messages are private and not accessible to third parties.
We use Supabase — a SOC 2 Type II compliant infrastructure — for all data storage.
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
• Payment processors (Paystack) — to process transactions
• Identity verification partners — to verify runner identities
• Law enforcement — when required by Nigerian law
Under the NDPR you have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

Minimum service fee: ₦100. Fee is added to the runner's agreed rate at checkout.
Escrow fee is charged at creation and is non-refundable. Auto-release after 7 days if no action taken.
Runners keep 95% of every agreed errand fee. Errands takes a 5% platform fee.
Payouts are processed within 24 hours of errand completion and user confirmation.
There is no fee to sign up as a runner. No subscription. No hidden charges.
Tap the Dispute button on any active errand or escrow transaction. Describe the issue clearly. Attach any evidence (photos, screenshots) if available.
All disputes must be raised within 48 hours of the errand completion or escrow release date.
Dispute acknowledged. Errands team notified. Both parties contacted for information.
Evidence reviewed. Errands team makes a preliminary assessment.
Final decision communicated to both parties. Funds released or refunded accordingly.
Full refund to user — runner failed to complete the errand or misappropriated funds/items
Full payment to runner — errand was completed as agreed and user dispute is unfounded
Partial settlement — errand was partially completed, payment split accordingly
Escalation — for complex disputes involving significant sums, we may involve a neutral third party
